Applied Behavior Analysis is the science of human behavior andis the process of systematically applying interventions based upon the principles of learning theory to improve socially significant behaviors to a meaningful degree, and to demonstrate that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior“ ~Baer, Wolf, & Risley 1968

Imagine Wellness, LLC

Imagine Wellness, LLC provides behavioral services to children with autism using an integrative blend of techniques.  Imagine Wellness works with the family and/or school to tailor a child's behavior plan to their specific needs. We approach each case from a family systems perspective, which asserts that the development of an efficient, long-term treatment plan needs to involve the clinician, the child, and members of the family who care for and consistently interact with the child.

We use traditional Discrete Trial Teaching, Incidental Teaching, and Yoga to create a supportive learning environment for children with autism in the home, community, and/or at school. Discrete Trial Teaching is used to introduce and fine tune skills that require more structured attention. Incidental Teaching is a child-lead technique used to help generalize skills gained during Discrete Trial Training in the natural environment. Yoga movement and breath work can be integrated into the child's behavior plan to help foster awareness of the breath, which calms the nervous system and makes it easier for children to concentrate on training sessionsalong the right path toward independence.
